He Walked Away

He had something to say.

“Say it. Go on just say it” they said.

He held on, for it was not his time.

“Say it, say it!” they shouted.

He continued to hold, for he chose to trust.

It was not his time.

“You’ll miss your chance – it’s too late”

It was not his bother. He held strong. Some may even call it faith. He believed. 

When he spoke he chose not to preach, but to echo from experience.

“Sorry”, he said.

He walked away.

You can’t force expression. You can’t force truth. Let go. Move on.
